This professional-grade USB to RS232 adapter provides a reliable connection between a computer's USB port and RS232 serial equipment. Unlike basic USB serial adapters, this model includes nine individual LED indicators that allow you to visually monitor all RS232 communication signals. TX, RX, RTS, CTS, DSR, DTR, DCD, RI and GND can be observed directly on the adapter, This makes it possible to quickly determine whether data is being transmitted or received and whether hardware flow-control signals are operating correctly.
For technicians and engineers, this can significantly simplify testing and troubleshooting compared with conventional USB-to-serial adapters that only provide basic TX/RX indicators.
The adapter incorporates protection against electrostatic discharge in accordance with IEC 61000-4-2, with protection specified from 8kV up to 15kV.
