Shipping & Returns

 

U.S. Shipping
We can ship to virtually any address in the United States and most addresses in the rest of the world.
All products are shipped from our Kansas City warehouse.

UPS Next Day Air and Next Day Air Saver orders received before 11AM CST (Central Standard Time) will usually be shipped out the same day. All other orders and orders received after 11AM CST will be shipped out either same day or within 1 to 2 days. However, due to large order volumes, weather conditions or circumstances beyond our control, we cannot always guarantee the aforementioned delivery times, but we will definitely do our best.

Delivery times are estimated in accordance to UPS or USPS general guidelines and terms. Unfortunately we are not in control of UPS or USPS so we cannot guarantee the time it takes for a package to arrive to its destination, nor are we responsible for delays caused by UPS or USPS.

The responsibility of a shipment transfers to the buyer once the package is handed over to the shipping carrier; U.S. Converters LLC will not be responsible for lost or damaged packages. We will however, by buyers request, file a claim with the shipping carrier for a lost or damaged package. If the claim results in a refund from the carrier, the refund will be forwarded to the buyer.

International shipping
International orders are shipped by either UPS or USPS. We highly recommend UPS for international shipping since USPS does not offer tracking or insurance for all countries and shipping services.
USPS First Class international shipping does NOT offer official tracking numbers for all countries (only a customs label number which can be used for tracking in selected countries specified by USPS) once the package leaves United States.

Calculated shipping costs
Shipping costs for orders from USconverters.com depend upon the product's weight and delivery method and location. Shipping rates are automatically calculated from USPS and UPS. Please note that the shipping rates for the items we sell are weight-based. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound. We will in any case try to provide the lowest shipping quotes available. You will be able to see how much the shipping cost is before you approve your purchase when you checkout at our website.

Risks of loss
All items purchased from USconverters.com are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This basically means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier. Notice that USPS First Class international mail does not offer tracking in all countries.

Returns
An RMA form must be included with all returns.

Please carefully follow the instructions on the form before returning an order.

All U.S. Converters LLC products have a minimum of one-year warranty. The warranty covers malfunctions due to manufacturing defects. You may return products sold by U.S. Converters LLC for a refund or an exchange within 180 days of delivery. A 10% restocking fee applies to all returns. We accept returns for both defective and non-defective products.
Products with manufacturing defects receives a full refund within the warranty period. Any product can be exchanged with a new product if the product has a manufacturing defect. If the return is covered by the warranty U.S. Converters LLC will pay for the return shipping costs, otherwise the customer pays for the return shipping costs. Unfortunately we cannot accept software returns.
You can expect a refund in the same form as the payment originally used for the purchase within 7 to 14 business days after we receive your return.

Purchase orders
We accept purchase orders with Net 30 payment terms once a buyer has placed and pre-paid one order through our website. To apply for Net 30 terms, the buyer must contact us by email. The amount due is to be paid within thirty (30) days of the invoice date. Failure to pay all invoices within this time will result in a 5% compounding monthly late fee. Any buyer that has not paid an outstanding balance with U.S. Converters will have its Net30 account suspended and no further Net30 orders will be accepted until the balance is paid in full.
