Sew Right ! Our new laptop with Windows 8, using my previous USB/serial adapter, would not communicate with my sewing machine's embroidery module. This adapter solved that problem. Very fast delivery. Would have rated 5 stars, but had to set it up (laptop did not recognize). Could be my error; I know more about fabric than computers. Thank you for the economical solution and educational web site.
