USB Serial Adapter - Ultimate

My big beef is not with the adapter, though I do have one about the installation.

The shipment sat in the Sedona, AZ post office for 11 days (8/9 - 8/20). I finally received in WA the adapter two days latter. Very poor service by USCONVERTERS in selecting a shipper - should refund $5.00 for shipping.

The installation would be daunting for a novice not accustomed to using Device Manager. Instructions (pdf file) were inaccurate and misleading. According to instructions, item is not "plug and play" which indeed it is. Finally, web page item description states that the adapter is Win 8 compatible but the packaging mentions only Win 7. Caused momentary consternation until adapter drivers were installed and adapter worked fine.

All-in-all, will not again buy from USCONVERTERS. Out of frustration with delay I ordered a similar adapter from Amazon and received it in two days. Can use two adapters - one for travel; one for home use.
