After going through 2 USB to RS232 adaptors that were not compatible with my new Windows 7 64 bit latptop, I found this one and ordered it based on the reviews. Once I put the mini CD in the DVD drive and plugged in the adaptor, it automatically loaded the drivers and it works as advertised. I was able to program a Pacific Crest ADL 35W radio using the adaptor without a hitch. Highly recommend!
