Port-powered desktop USB to 4-port RS422 / RS485 converter hub. With this converter you can easily add four RS485 or RS422 ports to almost any computer with a standard USB port.

Surge and static protection up to 15KV protects all four RS485 / RS422 COM ports. It also supports Hot-Swapping for a quick switch in serial devices without the need for shutting down your PC.

This converter is built around the rock-solid FT232BL RS485 / RS422 processor chip from FTDI Semiconductors which makes it fully compatible with Windows 7 and Windows 8, but will also work perfectly fine with older versions of Windows, Linux and Mac.
