This PCI Express RS232 I/O card adds four (2 x 2) high-speed 9-pin serial COM ports to any PCI Express-equipped PC. It uses an all-in-one high quality chipset (MCS9901) solution from MosChip Technology which provides superior performance and unmatched data transfer rates.
All four ports share same IRQ which saves valuable resources if other expansion cards are used.
Easy Plug and Play installation - automatically configures next available COM port and IRQ address. COM ports can also easily be renamed with the included COM port Redirect Utility.

Since the adapter card is based on a native single chip design, it allows you to harness the full capability of PCI Express (PCIe) - providing optimum reliability and speed while reducing the load applied to the CPU by as much as 48% over conventional serial cards.

To ensure broad compatibility, the 4 port PCIe Serial Adapter card includes an optional low profile bracket that allows the card to be installed in virtually any computer case – making it easier to add serial ports to a PCI Express enabled computer, regardless of the size of the computer case.
