Quick Tip!

The Bluetooth Serial adapter - Generally

One very effective and efficient way of extending a serial RS232 line is by using a Bluetooth serial adapter in the form of a Bluetooth serial adapter unit or dongle. The serial signal is transmitted via the Bluetooth serial adapter through the air and is then converted via another Bluetooth serial adapter at the other end. This way you will keep all the data signals at the Bluetooth serial adapter end and effectively reduce noise in the transmission line.
A Bluetooth serial adapter can often be modified and configured to match your Bluetooth serial adapter application. This is typically done by connecting the Bluetooth serial adapter to a COM port and connecting to the Bluetooth serial adapter by Hyper Terminal or another terminal program.
